The Web Magazine focuses on alumni news and campus events from Gardner-Webb College; now Gardner-Webb University. Gardner-Webb University celebrates its recent recognition in the Portfolio of Excellence as an "exemplary" institution. GWU also has a first for two graduation ceremonies in May due to the number of students. Many students were recognized in this issue such as Donnie Thurman Jr. following in his father's footsteps and other graduating students ending their career with recognitions. Another big change is coming to GWU such as the push to diversify the faculty. A few different programs are recognized along with a mom defining the word 'sacrifice'. The men's basketball team won the NCCAA National Championship along with the men's and women's tennis teams.
